In 2006, Lawrence & Associates Security Consultants Company developed a pilot program for the San Diego Chargers to significantly reduce the amount of off field problems players were experiencing during social settings. The company sought the alliance of Lorenzo Neal, fullback for the San Diego Chargers and Matt Mahoney, a business professional, to expand and develop this professional driver service for the Chargers.

Since the program was implemented off field problems and DUI incidents decreased dramatically. The three partners were asked to create the same pilot program nationwide for other teams in other cities.
